How Does Instagram Work for Business?
If you have a business, you may have thought about using Instagram to market it but aren’t quite sure where to start. So how does Instagram work for business? What could you do to build your brand on Instagram?
Here are a few ideas for visual branding and business:
You can use Instagram to promote your business. This can work for any business, whether you sell beauty products or beer. If you own a restaurant, post photos of the food or atmosphere. Engage customers with a specific mention of your channel in store, on tent cards, or in the window and ask them to tag you when they are in your restaurant for a meal. Post motivational quotes. If you make people feel good, they are more likely to keep your business in mind for the future. If you’re a personal trainer, for example, you might post inspiring quotes about health. If you own a wedding venue, you might post a quote about love or marriage.
If you are a travel destination, you need to get busy sharing your location and amenities now. Travel is one of the hottest applications for Instagram marketing. If you aren’t using it yet then dig in. Consider finding a travel blogger you admire and have them visit and promote while there. Maybe even hand them the keys to the channel for a day or two. There are a million ways to build your reputation on Instagram and cross promoting both of your channels can be a beautiful way to boost your numbers and engagement. Plus it adds a bit of flavour when a new traveller showcases your resort through their eyes.
